Smart Lithium Battery. Smart Shunt Not Needed w/OrionXS?

The LiFePO4 battery I’m getting has a smart battery management system and heater. It has an app that will give me state of charge via bluetooth and integrates with the Cerbo system. I’m assuming then I have no reason to need a Smart Shunt to accompany the OrionXS 50A charger?

As in, the battery has a Canbus port? And it claims to be compatible with victron? Then you likely dont need a shunt, if the communication protocol is implemented correctly.

Yes, it has a canbus port. Claims to be Victron compatible. We’ll see if it works!
