I just bought a Victron Smart Battery Sense Powermeter. Unfortunately the Powerconsuption is not what it says on the datasheet. According to the datasheet, the consuption should be 0,3mA, if not connected. My muitimeter always ready at least 2mA, which is to high for my usage. I already waited 10-15 mins, but the consuption is still 2mA. Could you please advise, how to get the 0,3mA? Many thanks. By the way, latest firmware is already installed.
Yeah, but I needed a low power consumption, when NO Bluetooth is connected, which is not 0,3 mA apparently.
How do you measure the current? Is your meter accurate enough to measure such small currents?
As you do. With a Mulitmeter serial current meassurement. A UNI-T UT139A, which has down to micro Amps. Nothing wrong here…
Do check on what the blue led is doing.
Led on = connected. Slow flash = sending smart networking data.
Hi,
After looking into this, we found that firmware version 1.14 indeed increases the current consumption to approx. 2 mA. So we are now looking into the cause of this increase.
Kind regards,
