Short circuit protection on 1000A NG BMS - what current level?

Planning to convert our FLA house bank to LiFePo4. Looking at around 600Ah at 24v. The Problem: Our bowthruster is 11.88kW (measured maintained 480A, dropping FLA bank voltage to around 21.8v). Bowthruster is powered through 185mm2 cable 6m each way. I have not been able to measure the inrush current (only have a Victron smart shunt to go on and that reports 1sec averages).

Right now the preferred option is 3 x 200Ah NG Victron and 1000A BMS. Concerned that the inrush current will trip the BMS but Victron don’t publish the short circuit protection current, only saying 1200A max at 5min which is not very useful as the inrush current is expected to be well above that but only for a few 10’s of ms.

Anyone know the details of the short circuit protection peak current for the 1000A bms (Not the 5min 1200A)

Thanks
Phil

If no one here has that information, can anyone suggest the best email address to send a query to Victron on this subject?

Thanks
