I have several high-capacity batteries for tractors and trucks. Most batteries have a capacity of 180 to 200Ah. It is for these that I am looking for a charger. I’m going to buy which of these two:
- 15A 12V VICTRON Blue Smart IP65 Bluetooth (manufacturer code BPC121531064R )
- 12V 25A Victron Blue Smart IP65 (manufacturer code BPC122531034 )
Currently, this is no small expense for me, so I would like to choose something tried and tested and recommended.
I have heard good things about Victron rectifiers and their battery regeneration capabilities.
Some friends who have chargers designed for larger batteries were getting an errror message when they plugged them in, so that’s why I’m worried.
This leads to my two questions: - Will both chargers charge a 200Ah battery?
- Would both chargers have the ability to charge two batteries at the same time, allowing me not to take them out of the truck (24V). If so, to what wattage can I double charge in this way, for example. 180Ah x2 as a maximum value.
