Renaming a Ruuvi Tag on GUI v2

I might be missing something, but I can’t find a way to rename a Ruuvi tag in GUI v2. I had to temporarily switch back to GUI v1 to rename it, so the tanks display would show my preferred name.

Here’s what I’ve tried:

  • Attempted to edit the name directly from the tanks screen, but that’s not an option.
  • Went to Settings → I/O → Bluetooth sensors. While the name is visible there, there’s no option to change it.
  • Used the Ruuvi app to rename the sensor and then rebooted the GX.

None of these approaches worked. However, when I switched back to GUI v1, I was able to rename the tag. After switching back to GUI v2, the updated name displayed correctly. It seems like this functionality might have been overlooked in GUI v2.

Ah yes that does it. Didn’t think of following that path to rename it, thanks!
