Hi, every couple of days I receive an alert email from VRM with content
Digital input - PV Inverter Limiter active [10], Digital input alarm: Alarm
This email is generated by Automatic Alarm Monitoring on the VRM Portal. More information:
https://www.victronenergy.com/live/vrm_portal:alarms#automatic_alarm_monitoring
In the same minute receiving the email with subject starting with “ALERT” I receive an according “CLEAR” which can repeat multiple times over a day.
I don’t even know what “device” that should be. VRM Portal - Victron Energy lists a “device” called “PV Inverter Limiter active” – weird name for a device – with "product “Digital input”. input type is listed as “Door sensor” and “VRM instance” is “10”.
In VRM Portal - Victron Energy I have added a rule for
“PV Inverter Limiter active Digital input alarm: No alarm - Alarm currently active”
with the slider “No alarm” enabled, i.e. showing green, moved to right. “Warning” and “Alarm” are disabled. This does not do what I expected that I wouldn’t receive alarms. I also tried other combinations to no avail.
I have:
- Inverter MultiPlus-II 48/5000/70-48
- “Generic Venus Device” installed on Raspberry Pi 3B+
- “Sunspec PV Inverter” Solaredge SE17K
I don’t know what this device is and I don’t think anything is wrong with my hardware system and I assume this to be a false positive. How can I effectively prevent or at least disable the alert?
