I am installing a Lithium 12.8/200AH smart battery with a 1600VA multiplus compact, protected with a VE.Bus BMS V2.
If the VE Bus BMS is switched off with the remote terminals will the Multiplus charge the battery when mains power is connected.
If you switch off the BMS than everything else will also be switched off (charging & discharging).
The MultiPlus should pass through the AC but will not start charging.
Thankyou for your reply. If the BMS is switched OFF via its remote ON/OFF terminals the BMS will still have voltage, can it respond to any inputs.
If the BMS has switched OFF due to low voltage how would you then charge the battery.
Can the multiplus C1600 begin charging when AC is available?
