Quattro-II 2x120V for van build

Hi,

I’m in the planning phase for a 1st time van build and want to be able to charge 24V house batteries with solar, alternator using a dc-ac inverter, and shore power. I currently have 240 volt 50 amp charging available at home for an EV so will be utilizing this source at times. I understand that the Quattro ii 2x120 will automatically switch to the active source. Documentation states that output will match input when connected to a source. The van will have multiple 120 volt loads but no 240 loads. I assume I can limit output to 120 volts even if using a 240 volt source. Is this correct?

The 2x120 is a 240 split phase application. When connected to 50amp 240 the input and output will be L1 to N 120v and L2 to N 120v, and L1 to L2 240v. If you have 120v loads connected on either L1 or L2 you will be just fine. This is the intended application.

Thank you. Out of curiosity, what would happen if both sources were active?

It will prioritize AC Input 1 if AC is available on both inputs.
