Anyone advise why quattro 15KW is limiting AC output to 8KW. Batteries 100 SOC (60KW) potentional 17KW PV power. Limit inverter output disabled. When O/P demand goes over 8KW system takes excess from the grid. Any ideas appreciated
If you would like a quality response, then we do need a more detailed problem statement.
There is very little to go on here so you will get generic replies like any of the AI’s could churn out.
How is it configured?
Any charts to support what you are seeing?
What are the active battery limits?
Help us to help you.
Is your battery bank controlling the inverter via CAN? What battery BMS are we talking about?
What does the DCL limit tell you? Bellow is my 6 x 9,6kWh battery bank limits.
Thanks for reply
Using 12 x pylontech us5000.
DCL 960.0A. Pylontech BMS. Inverter output limit disabled. Quattro 15KW set to 200A in configure.
PV 36 X 550W - 6 Strings to to 2 mppts. 2 to 450/100 and 4 to 450/200. Victron EV charger max 7.3KW.
A beginner - installed the system myself and works brilliantly. Just confused on 8KW O/P limit from quattro.
Thanks
Is it programmed with ess? Have you tried lowering the input current limit to force power assist
What kind of load behavior are you seeing in the graphs? Does the inverter ramp up to full power if sufficiently loaded, and then throttle down as it heats up(fan issue)?
Can you hear the internal fans ramping when loading it?
Or does it limit to 8kW instantly while keeping that limit linearly, looking like an software limiter?
