Orion xs 1400 for 12 to 48 volt

Currently use orion tr smart 12/24-15 for alternator charging to 24v lithium House (RV) batteries and then orion 24/12-70 for RV 12v loads from the house(RV) batteries.
2 questions
1st - On the XS 1400 is the 50 amp limit on the 12v input side and output at 24v would be 25amps or is it capable of 50 amp on the 24v output side (ie. 100amp on input)?
2nd - I’m considering converting the RV lithium to 48v and wondering if victron has an alternator charging ability to take 12v alternator and charge 48v lithium house(RV) batteries. And also the best way to then drop the 48v back to 12v again for the house (RV) loads?

  1. It’s max. 50A at the input and output. With 12V input you can get 12V 50A or 24V 25A at the output. With 24V input you can get 12V 50A (with 25A input) or 24V 50A at the output.

You only get 1400W output in 24V to 24V mode.

  2. There are 12 to 48 and 48 to 12 converters but not as XS.

I guess there will be an Orion XS with 48V sometime but there is no timeline for that.

Thanks. You confirm what I expected that the output at 24v on the XS would be 25amps. I also had seen that the orion tr could handle 12 to 48v but was or am hoping for an XS version with better than 8amp output. As well as a converter from 48v to 12v with around 70amp output
