Hi everyone, I have a 12 12 50 Orion xs , I am using it to charge my Aferiy portable power station, I’ve run the power bank down to 70% and then connected to my Orion but it’s only charging at 118w at 14.2 volts in absorption mode, is this correct I would have thought it should be in bulk charge mode, Thank you

Hi yes I did manage to get it working, I had my Victron set in the ‘charger’ option but it needs the ‘power’ mode selection, I set the voltage to 17 volts and I charge my Aferiy at 25 amps, mines not a smart alternator and it’s only 90 amp output alternator, you do need to manually press the power button on the Aferiy otherwise it won’t accept the current, works perfect

I’ve tried it in power supply mode but it just sucked the vans battery dry.

Have you got the setup correct so it switches off automatically when the engine is turned off?
I assume so. It switches off in charger mode but not in power mode. I’ll have another look.
Hi, it’s peeing it down at the moment I’ll take a screen shot of my settings tomorrow, on my set up I wired in a switch to physically turn off the Orion so I could operate it while I was moving, I also took a live ignition on feed to my Orion so when I turn the engine off it automatically disconnects the Orion
