I have an orion TR 12-12-18, a smart shunt 500A and a mppt 100/20 in my system.
the shunt and the mppt are connected togheter in a ve.netwtork so the voltage reported are the same.
my issue is the orion TR. it reports about 0.1V more than the value reported by the shunt and the mppt causing entering in absoroption earlier than the mppt.
I set the absorption at 14.65v (as reported by the battery manufacturer) in both mppt and orion but when the orion reach that value the mppt is still at 14.55v. after a while, depending of the solar coverage, the mppt reaches 14.65 and enter the absorption mode.
the orion is connected to the shunt bus with 16mmq cables with a 60A avn fuse (as reported in the manual) in a 50cm distance. the alternator is connected to the orion with 16mmq cables 60a fuse in a distance of max 2mt.
in addition i say tht when the mppt is in mantenence mode and the orion reach the mantenence mode too the voltage reported by the shunt and the orior is the same (13.60V).
could you please help me to figure it out?
