Offgrid Multiplus in motorhome - Earth loop impedance expected value?

multiplus 48/5000 in a motorhome, 230vAC. Using a martindale EZ365 tester in the sockets to check my wiring. This measures earth impedance and has a button to induce a trip.

When on-grid, loop test shows green, 0 to 1.7ohm, RCD tests are successful at all sockets
when off-grid, loop test shows 10ohm to 100ohm which is red on the tester : however all RCD tests are still successful

the ground relay is left on default settings and clearly heard clunking into place when go offgrid.

is the higher earth impedance expected when offgrid through the multiplus ground relay only?
