NZ 2-phase with 2 x Multiplus

Hi All,

In NZ (and Australia?) its common for a street to have three phases going down the street, and each house will have 2 of those phases, for example house #1 might have red & blue, house #2 has blue & white, house #3 has white & red.

I’ve read a lot of posts about using 3 multiplus in 3-phase, and 2 multiplus in a US-style split-phase (180 degrees), but i haven’t been able to find a clear answer as to whether a pair of multiplus can be used as a grid-tied 2-phase system in NZ. Lets say a MP2 on L1, a MP2 on L2, and given there is no L3 cable in this house, nothing on L3.

This post is similar to what i’m talking about;

If i set it up like this (from the post above); but select “2 AC inputs”, i’m presuming that L1 from the street goes into #1 MP2’s AC Input, and L2 goes into MP2’s AC Input, and #1 MP2’s AC Out goes to the circuits that L1 used to feed (kitchen and ripple controlled HW), and #2 MP2’s AC Out goes to the circuits that L2 used to feed (the rest of the house)
