Hello all. I have a customer with a 2100 AH bank of 24 volt 309 AH NG batteries.
His concern is that leaving the boat all winter with the batteries “ stored” at 100% SOC will damage them.
But really they aren’t in storage. They are in service feeding the unused boats 24 volt DC system.
My question is should he not be concerned? Or if this could be a problem. What is the correct settings to set the BMS/ shunt to limit the SOC during “ storage”.
