New MultiPlus II 4k5 48V Wiring and Fuse Recommendation (printed blank in manual)

Hi all,

Please clarify why wiring and fuse recommendation is left blank in printed and digital manuals for the new MultiPlus II 4k5 48V, is there a particular reason? I know what I’d like to use but only single terminals are provided and entries and space probably won’t allow much more than 70mm2 cable and lugs (maybe 95mm2 with some special stubby lugs). I believe the unit is capable of up to 4.5kW AC output for 2hrs (cold start) 6kW 230VAC output for 25mins (cold start) and 7kW of 230VAC output for 1 min (cold start?).

Victron, please provide official spec.

I see it in the HTML and PDF manual.

Thanks Mathias for the link. For me it’s interesting to see a 12v version which is not mentioned in the datasheets I found https://www.victronenergy.nl/upload/documents/Datasheet-MultiPlus-II-inverter-charger-4k5-6k5-NL-.pdf . That makes me hopeful for a 24 volt one in the near future. I like the fact that the new ones are quiter, lighter and smaller. I also note the dimentions for the 48v 4k5 in your doc are different from what’s in the datasheets.
