New build system help

Yes its certainly doable!

Victron has really good docs/trainig courses and support, you just have to put some time and effort in reading it if your a newbie

Or your local official victron dealer can help you with system design, if its some ones first install i recommend doing that and buy stuff from them

If your experienced just go shopping online for best deals!

It will be in the garage. So no issues,

Yes, it makes cooling fan sound but it will not effect us. (hope so). My garage is behind the kitchen ( so thinking to make sound proof wooden construction 5cm deep and fill it with sound absorption pads inside.

And garage is always cooler ( winter 5°C and summer its can be 25°C) and enough ventilation present.

Space (alocation) available: 3meter high, 2 meter width, and 1 meter deep.

Its best to put rubber anti vibration mats on the wall between the multis and place them directly on the wall with anti vibration rubber plugs, a wooden construction (even filled) will resonate :blush:

@DuivertNL thanks for the tip:

is this pad you mean?

This is very interesting: By diy, we think more than just fast -fast service from some providers.

@ron_h I check your link for battery pack again. there are 4 types which one will work with Victron multiplus2 48/5000

I am thinking 2x - 18kWh : it is not so big in size. It will fit nicely in the area.

Do I need to order it with Heater option? Can you please guide. Thanks.

Yes or these chepaer kind of mats are ok too

Just make sure they are thick (heavy), mine are 2cm thick

@DuivertNL Ok.

I have finished non-professional way of diagram but its easy to understand ( I guess) : Please check what could be better ?

I use only power in distributors with all 200Amp adler ef3 fuse. and each battery has 250Amp DC MCB. (2 amp glass fuse for soft start cable)

AC side I am still working on it. it has AC-out will get SMA 10kWh connected too and I am thinking to make use of SPD’s.

Looks ok, only thing to change, distribute multiplus Dc and battery DC more on the busbar (lynx) this way your current spreads better

Multi, batt, multi, batt, multi
