My RV Installation

When I bought our RV build in 1979 it had a few shore powered sockets. A 90AH lead-acid batterie and lots of weird wires. After the first holiday it was clear we want it to be fully independent.

Searching for a inverter i found the Victron Multiplus and it was clear, thats what i want.

So it started with the Multi and off course a bigger batterie. Soon it was clear i want to monitor that. As we wanted it independent it also got PV panels.

Actually it contains the following

MultiPlus Compact 12/1200/50
Victron AGM 165Ah
MPPT 75/15
Cyrix CT to connect the alternator or charge the starter
2 120 WP panels
BMV 702 also monitoring the starter voltage
Color Control GX

Installed all that learning by doing. Runs for many years now.

At the moment I am planing an upgrade to Lithium NG batteries and more PV.

Hi Jan, what does the compressor do in the middle of the top picture? Is there an external condenser?

Dear Jeff, it’s the external compressor - condenser unit for the Fridge in the “kitchen”. Very happy with the Wemo fridge.
