Hi, I have just upgraded my power system on a catamaran, everything is working fine except when I use my pod coffee machine the inverter makes a lot of noise. The inverter is the 12/3000 multiplus II. I can run all my other 240v appliances no problem and they are more power hungry than the coffee machine. I’m thinking that it’s to do with the pump in the coffee machine. Has anyone had issues like this?
There are always problems with these compact coffee machines and the whole control system for heating water or pumps via pulsed control… But you can be glad that the machine works for you… Cherish it… For other Users, the WR switches to fault mode… So it’s almost completely normal for the toroidal core to generate these pulses… that’s just the pulse width control in the small compact machine…
