Hello everyone
In my installation, I have a Multiplus II, a battery bank, an MPPT controller, a SmartShunt, and a Venus OS.
My problem is that I have it configured so it doesn’t inject power into the grid, but sometimes it does, or so the statistics show me through the VRM portal.
I don’t understand why it’s injecting power into the grid when it’s configured not to.
That’s negligible and it’s because the MP can’t follow/compensate quick enough for loads which draw power that varies quicky.
Increase grid set point a bit, till export is not taking place.
In your installation , how is grid monitored? MP2 / et112 / ct clamp ?
Some ways can be laggy / slow to change variations in loads
I assume you’re referring to this configuration.
I understand that increasing the grid setpoint setting could solve the problem, since I initially had it at 0W and the injection was higher.
I assume it’s like Alex Pescaru says and there’s no solution. Since the injection is minimal, it wouldn’t cause me any problems with my electric service provider.
Ess needs grid to balance, so it will always feed to grid,
if you want it to do as minimal as it gets, yes set grid setpoint higher, but not a bit, quite high
But still it will never be 0w

The controller can only react to a deviation if it is there. Therefore deviations will always occur briefly and will add up to a certain amount of injection.
