Hi everyone. I tried looking for answer and sorry if this is redundant. I have a Multiplus II 12v 2000w Compact Inverter which is designed differently then the full size. I am trying to hook up the AC in and out cables to the terminals which apparently are spring loaded ( at least for full size they are). On compact, there is no hole above the terminal to insert a small flat headed screw driver to release the spring in order to insert the wire. So how do you this?
These are screw terminals, not spring loaded. Use a screwdriver.

Sorry, but your knowledge is to bad to deal with such things…
Thats what I thought they were, but the manual that came with it said they were spring-loaded. When I have questions, I research thoroughly before I do anything. The only reason I asked this question is because the dealer I bought stuff from was not available. When you started, didn’t you have questions?
i started that hobby 40 years ago - that time nobody was thinking about spring connectors
Sorry about beeing rude - but if you buy a lamp these days - most still have still screw clamps?
I heard of spring connectors but never came across one. From what I read, the newer model has spring connectors. I purchased the inverter as an open box item. Apparently, it is an older model of this inverter. I am guessing that the manual was missing and a manual for the new model was tossed in, that is where the confusion came in. Thank you for the follow up and apology.
