My brandnew Multiplus Compact 12/1600/70 is installed on my boat. With all dipswitches default it charges and switches to inverter mode correctly.
But it is installed in an inaccessible location, so to be able to control it, I installed a 3 way switch to connector H and set dipswitch 2 to off, as per the manual. The unit will not switch on at all, no charging, no inverting. With dipswitch 2 back on. the unit works and can be controlled from the front panel.
The dealer is not helpful and claims I can only remote control the unit with a smart dongle that he wants to sell. But on my boat it is unacceptible that things can ONLY be controlled with apps on telephones. The smart dongle can only be used INSTEAD OF the front panel switch or the remote switch, which seems like a design error to me.
Who can tell me how to get the standard behaviour that is described in the manual, so 3 wires and a switch for remote, working normally on this unit? Or is it a known bug?
