I have a Quattro 48/15000 with PV only (no grid connection) … looking for generator recommendations. Previously had a Hyundai DHY8000SELR which worked relatively well but wonder if anyone has any real world experience that they can pass on.
Is it a multiplus or a quattro?
The general recommendation is a generator that can handle the peak loads and charging at the same time. For the most part that ends up being a 20-25kVa if you have a 15kVa inverter for stability reasons.
Of course there are are some workarounds as you know.
Giving local recommendations is a bit more difficult unless you share where you are. What AC voltage your system is?
