I have a battery bank consisting of 2 8D 12v Lead Acid batteries in parralel and an 8 D engine starter battery. I have configured my Multiplus 3000 50 Amp inverter/charger to charge my batteries at 14.4 during absorption phase and 13.6 at float. What I am noticing is that during my Bulk charging phase, it is charging around 13.9 + and then it switches to 14.01 and creeps up to 14.38 or so during Absorption and Float. Different than the settings I have programmed through the VE.connect interface with my computer. Where would these other voltage values be coming from and does the difference hurt my batteries?

Sounds like battery safe is working to minimize battery gassing.
Have a look at the charge algorithm section of the manual.
