Multiplus 1 not inverting 12V to 220V - 12/3000-120

Have an older Multiplus 1, 12/3000-120 that does not invert from battery power to 220V. This is in a boat.

  • All lights are good
  • Inverting click or sound is OK
  • No error messages
  • Pass thru from land shore is OK.
  • When inverting from 12V, it says in VE bus that AC output L1 is 1W, 0,07A.
  • Battery is fully charged.
  • 220V fuse that comes on when pass thru does not light up, when inverting from battery.
  • Main DC Fuse from DC is OK (250A fuse), ohm measured and measured DC on MP.

It seems like everything is OK, but somehow the inverting power will not go out from DC to AC out.

I will guess its out of guarantee, so how is this to send for repairs? Last thing to do is measure AC Out with a multimeter I guess.

Hi, is Multiplus 1 even possible to repair when it comes to something like this? Or should I keep it and buy a phoenix for inverting, and have the MP as a charger only?

Its 1000dollars here, and with high hourly costs, its probably going to be the same in repairs.. if its a hard fix.

I am still new to Victron stuff, but if it is a 12/3000-120, doesn’t that only output 120v, not 220v, unless you are running more than 1?
