I am experiencing the same issue where the total output to the grid is limited when using an energy meter and solar production at the same time. Could somebody from Victron send me the beta firmware to test please?
Hi Nick,
the inverter is rated for 22A / 5060W continuous operation when feeding energy to the grid. Which is what you’re seeing here and as per design - spec.
we’ve finished our testing and plan to release this version soon (ie. within the next couple of weeks).
Thanks again for your help and continuous push on getting this under attention. (!)
I have a single-phase system with German grid code. The total feed in (AC + DC) on L1 seems to be limited to 4600W in this case. Will this also be solved in the upcoming firmware version?
German grid code defines phase Imbalance less than 4.6 kW. Though a single phase system shall not deliver more than 4.6 kW.
A three phase system could deliver 5.0 kW on one phase if the other two deliver 0.4 kW each to keep imbalance under 4.6 kW.
That’s not the problem here. When my 3-phase Fronius inverter pushed 12 kW to the grid the Multi RS only added another 0,6 kW on L1 to a total of 4,6 kW. I installed firmware version 1.26 today and can confirm that this issue is fixed.
Hi there,
I have the same issues with 2 Identical setups.
2 Fronius inverters push also Energy. When the Feed in goes over 6000 Watts per Phase the smart solars Cut off. The Limit in the RS is 35 amp, so 8000 Watts per Phase… but if the Fronius Are over 6000 per Phase all Solar power from Victron smart solars is forced Till 0.
If under 6000 it fills up.
Actucal Beta Firmware.
If I Turn off the Switch in Connect for the Grid Meter It works… Grid Meter has the latent Firmware.
Why is the Software Support so Bad with the RS, the multiplus worked! But I needed to change it because of Noise…
