Quick question: I know the mttp 75/15 automatically senses the battery voltage, but I want to confirm that I can connect my 24v panel to the 12v battery bank (using the mttp 75/15) without having to change any default settings. i.e. it’s “plug and play” for that configuration. Thanks!
This normally depends on the battery voltage range, but most 12V batteries are compatible with the default setting of the MPPT.If there is a rotary switch, then that can be used to select one of several defaults.
