MPPTs 250/100 v3.16 stop producing

Hello,
I have an MPPT 250/100 with firmware 3.16 and I am still experiencing strong current spikes — sometimes up to 40 A from the PV input — when clouds pass, followed by a drop close to 0 A, then stabilizing again. This repeats several times before output becomes steady.

I understand that Victron is working on improvements for other MPPT models in beta firmware (like 3.20+), but I have not seen any beta version for the 250/100. Can you confirm if this model will also get the fix, and when?

Many users would like to test a beta version to help confirm the issue is resolved. Thank you for your support.

I see Victron won’t even comment on this, I thought they would stand up to it, people aren’t worth it to them, when I was solving the problem with Fronius, Fronius immediately commented on it and tried to solve it for people
