Has anyone else had this issue, one of the screws will not tighten, it seems to loose grip at the last couple millimeters or so, all the other screws tighten all the way. I had another look, it could be the clamping mechanism is uncoupled/failed internally.
Any ideas how to replace the screw? If possible.

Based on your description of the problem, I suggest you call the dealer from where you purchased the MPPT and ask for a replacement unit.
@OGPS Thanks, I logged through victron request portal, it was forwarded to UK dealer, that dealer didn’t want to help because item wasn’t bought from them. Item still got 3 years left, I was under the impression that the warrant was global and it’s tied to the serial number not the location where it was bought. I’ve forwarded the email to repairs@victronenergy.com

I have dealers that purchase from OGPS (we are a Victron distributor) and resell Victron products to end users. I require my dealers to provide support to customers that buy from them, but if the customer looks up the serial number it will show OGPS as the responsible distributor. At the end of the day, Victron requires OGPS, the distributor, to take care of the customer if the dealer who took the sale does not.
I’m not entirely clear what you’re saying. When you look up the serial number it directs you to the distributor who purchased the MPPT directly from Victron. Are you saying that distributor does not want to help because one of their dealers (who purchased the MPPT from the distributor and then sold to you) made the actual sale? If that’s the case, this is an issue that VIctron sales should be aware so they can smack the distributor.
You can go to https://www.victronenergy.com/support , enter your serial number, and then when it brings up the device type you should see a link titled “Submit a support request”. That will be sent to Victron and the distributor and you should get a follow up email from Victron asking if the issue was resolved. If the support request was not resolved, say it was not, and Victron will likely contact the distributor.
Unfortunately, there are distributors and dealers who do not live up to their end of the bargain. I don’t know if that’s the case here or not. If you don’t get resolution in the next couple of business days, then I would suggest you send an email to the Victron sales manager for your country or region. You can find their emaill address here: Contact - Victron Energy
@OGPS Thanks for taking the time to explain in details. When I did the support request its sent me email with order details, dealer was Danbrit Akkumulator in Denmark, I am guessing the van was kitted out in Denmark? The support ticket was somehow sent to Battery Group in UK, I am guessing because I am in the UK? BG said “Unfortunatly, as these were purchase through us we are unable to action anything without our order number”, I think not is missing from that sentence. I’ve forwarded the email chain to the uk sales manager, lets see if I get any response next week.
