I have a MPPT 250/100(1 of 4) that shows (and puts out) the battery voltage also on the PV side.
I dont know if it was my fault or it was before but I made a mistake yesterday when adding panels in parallel and added one string to another string in the wrong polarity. The fuses did blow instantly.
But after that accident I messured everything tripple of course and added the other PV strings at night when PV voltage was only 2V. When doing that I did notice this MPPT does output 52V on the PV side. I did now turn off all fuses on the PV side because I first feared of also putting PV voltage through to the batteries at daytime.. But maybe its onle a reverse diode?
I did find an old post who mentions a bad reverse diode. Is this most likly the case? I dont know if it was before or only after my accident because Victron Docs says the MPPT can handle revers PV Voltage.. But most likly I have to blame my error..
Can this be an easy repair at Victron? I dont want to pay like 200-300€ for a repaired device when a new one will cost me little more.. Do I contact Victron or my seller for sending it in?
