Looking at setting up two strings on my offgrid cabin.
First string- 6 x 180W panels (voc 43.6, imp 5.28) into a 250/100 mppt banking into 4 x 12v/120Ah into 24v/240Ah. This will run small appliances with my daily draw approx 1150W per day.
Second string - 2 x 180W (same specs) into a 12v/300Ah battery. This string will run LED lights in my shed approx 100W per day.
Is this achieveable?
Ok, but you’ll have to set up string 1 as 3s2p, otherwise your exceed the 250v limit.
But, if all panels are positioned equal, you migt just go to 4s2p, make 12v from the 24 with a dcdc charger.
