Good afternoon, I currently have a grid tied ac inverter with a Multiplus ii 48/3000, smart shunt 500, Cerbo mk2, and 2 banks of 4 x TNE12-125 agm batteries ( 250Ah) ET112 energy meter as grid meter and also 1 ET112 for PV production. The system has been running for in excess of 4 years. Batteries approx 20 months old.
Just recently, as the sunshine has been getting less I have noticed a couple of issues, i.e. that the system stops inverting when the batteries are showing anything from 77% to 60% soc. Alarm indications of low battery from either the Multiplus or smart shunt, yet no indication of #1 or #2 ESS battery codes. Very frequently the Multiplus will revert to sustain Sustain ( as now with 64.2 % showing with a voltage of 49.2 v, current- 0.2)
The question is : How do I get the ESS battery error codes back ? and why does it does it fail to invert and reverts to Sustain rather than discharge the batteries to their nominated 45 or 50%
I have checked and re checked the manuals and settings yet cannot find nothing obvious. If I split the bank and run just one set of 4 batteries ( 125 Ah) I get ESS #1 and #2 messages when the voltages drop and SOC falls on either bank (having obviously amending the battery bank size in ESS on the Multiplus and shunt ).
Thank you in anticipation
