Minimun Soc seems to be reset back to 20% every day or even more often in DESS. I cant understand why. I set it back to 0% but if I wait an hour or so it is back to 20% again… How come??
A minimum SOC of 0% is really quite low, isn’t it? I set my minimum SOC based on the season automatically: 40% in winter, 20% in summer. Perhaps you have something similar implemented? Maybe your system automatically adjusts the minimum SOC whenever the BMS issues a “low battery” warning.
No one will be able to help you if you don’t provide at least some information about your system.
Maybe implemented something in Node-RED?
Yes, I can change it back via Node Red but thats not rellly solving the problem ![]()
0% is more like an example. Evan if i set it to 10% it will go back to 20% again…
My system is 3-phase DESS (3xMPII 3000 48V), Cerbo GX, 2 x 2P16S LiFePo4 packs with 123BMS oh each pack. Everything is on latest available non beta firmware.
Mode: Optimized without battery life
Scheduled charge levels: Inactive
What happens if you temporary disable ALL “Node Reds”, set Minimum SOC to 10% and wait….
@grua wrote it: “Maybe implemented something in Node-RED?”
I get your point ![]()
I’ll try that.
With Node red disabled Minimun still goes back to SoC: 20%
Cerbo GX is also updated to 3.70.
Do you have a battery with comms? Does the battery send a do not discharge to the system?
Yes, the BMS (123 Smart BMS) is connected to Cerbo GX via USB.
