want to use BMV 700 to monitor vehicle battery in Promaster Van 1500 V6 engine. Best info I can find is the engine may use 300-500 amps starting and the current shunt is rated at 500 A. If the engine draws more than that to start on a cold day will it damage the shunt? Thanks
