I can’t read the quote in the notification mail from the community when using dark theme.
It’s white lettering on white background.

We are having trouble reproducing this issue, for me it’s working as expected.

We were able to reproduce the issue, and it seems to stem from how the K-9 Mail client handles background and text color rendering when dark mode is enabled. This causes quoted text to appear with low contrast or become unreadable.
The most effective immediate workaround is to switch the K-9 Mail theme from System or Dark to Light mode. This adjustment should restore proper visibility of quoted text.
But we’re escalating this case to the community design team for further evaluation.
There is a public bug report for the issue since K-9 Mail is based on Thunderbird.
