Is there any way to restrict “Android GX Wi-Fi Display” from changing settings on the system?

@jperez Great work, much appreciated!

Is there any way to restrict “Android GX Wi-Fi Display” from changing settings on the system, other then restrict pyhsical access to the Android Device itself?

For example: on a guest-house or rented boat you would want the guests / renters to be able to see whats going on with the Victron System, how full is the battery, how much energy is beeing consumed, charged into the battery, but they shall not be able to change system settings.
All of which is perfectly shown on the “Brief” or “Overview” Page for example.

But if I didn’t got it wrong (or at least I was not able to set it up like this) who ever has (physical) access to such a Android GX Wi-Fi Display can change also all the Victron System settings!

This is perhaps not an “issue” at all with the “Android GX Wi-Fi Display” implementation but rather a feature request for Venus OS?

As a first Idea I could imagine a password or PIN pop-up as soon as you are not only scrolling between “Brief”, “Overview”, “Levels” and “Nofication” but want to enter the “Settings” screen or click on the switch shortcut in the top left corner:

Best Regards!

I think this would be more a feature request to the GUI-V2 in general
Also valid for a hdmi connected screen.
