IP22 with two MPPT need how many Smart Shunts

The Diagramm shows how I have tested my IP22 with two MPPT 100. I had for a long time only one Smartshunt and it worked well.
Now I would like to put that as it is too my boat with the Yanmar Motor which has also a generator.
Would I need an additional smart shunt on the generator side ?

Thanks in advance for any hint on that.

No, not really necessary, one shunt can follow the current wherever it comes to or goes to, so your SoC will always be correct as long as you do a full charge at least once a week to synchronize again.

thanks for the very fast reply @Ludo
The shunt has two wires Red and Grey for current sensing. Should / Can both wires be connected to the two batteries in that scenario ?

No, the current sensing is done thru the M8 bolts.

The thin wires are for voltage sense of the main battery and “something else”, specified in setup.
