I was notified of a new firmware version “3.69” but I cannot find release notes anywhere. Did I install a trojan?
Not likely, what is often the case is the documentation lags a bit behind releases.
Generally speaking though its best not to uodate unless tou are having a problem.
I am having a problem: the charger will intermittently switch from a “custom” configuration to “normal” when AC power is cycled. Without release notes, I can’t know if the new firmware fixed the behavior. Intermittent symptoms are difficult to troubleshoot.
I have a IP22 12/30 (1) and my update page says “Firmware v3.69 for Blue Smart IP22 chargers optimizes voltage control on new hardware revision produced in 2026”. Those would have serial numbers HQ26xxxxxxx. You have a charger with serial number HQ2045xxxxx. That means yours was made in 20"20" in the “45"th week. This update also doesn’t apply to me either because my serial number is HQ2535xxxxx, made in 20"25” in the “35” week. I also couldn’t find any info on the internet about v3.69, but when I pressed the update button it gave me a description before the final update button.
Thank you!
