Hybrid Generator With Solar PV System Designing

Hi, We are a solar EPC company from Gujarat, India. Our client is consuming about 1,020 kWh/day for 6 months in a year. We spec`d him to use 500kWh, 48V Li-Ion Batteries, with 115 kW of Solar PV Plant and a 50 kVA Generator along with 100-125kW Victron inverters.

I want to verify whether this system could work and be able to spit out abut 1,000 kWh when needed in the evening (non solar hours). I also want help in selecting the right equipment and to integrate them as well.

Please note that, this system shall going to be connected to the grid. Hence, it will backfeed the power when there is extra power.

Could somebody please help ?

In which case you should be able to do this…
If system is grid connected, then what is the aim? To minimise grid use or just to provide short term backup in case of grid fail?
Solution depends in where you are, solar insolation varies a lot over India.

1MWh is a lot of energy, and you can’t store that in 500kWh of battery. with 100kW of inverters the design could provide the 100kW for about 4 hours, depending on inverter temperature.
