How to wire an 'operating' lamp for a Lynx Smart BMS 500

I’d be grateful for a suggestion.

I have a Lynx Smart BMS 500 which I control with a remote switch. I have an indicator lamp next to this switch which I would like to indicate that the BMS contacts are closed (ie. allowing discharge). Without thinking clearly I wired this to the main busbar, however as the solar is also wired to the busbar the lamp is lit any time the solar produces power regardless of BMS state.

Is there any way of checking the BMS state to achieve this?

Thanks in anticipation.

Simon

I would try to use the ATD signal for that.
That should be only active if the BMS is switched on.

Thanks Ludo, that would work but does an ‘ideal diode’ (ie. one without voltage drop) actually exist?

Thanks Mathias, that sounds promising: I’ll try it.

Simon

Many thanks Ludo.

But that thing can only handle 50A and doesn’t it also block charging into the battery?
