How to sync Inverter RS "Smart" Solar SOC with real value?

Hi!

I have an offgrid system, which consist of:

  • 17kW solar
  • 22kW Li-ion battery
  • SmartShunt
  • 2 pcs MPPT 250-100 Ve.Can
  • 2 pcs Inverter RS Smart Solar (in parallel)

What happens is, that during day time the MPPT-s keep producing lots of power, which partially is consumed in real time by the imverters and partially is charging the batteries.

However, the inverters are not aware about the fact that the two other MPPT also produce juice, they just calculate how much amps they were consuming from the system. Despite the battery is fully charged they still keep showing 0% SOC (see screenshot).

Very disapponting is the fact that despite the two Inverter RS is called “Smart”, actually they are quite dumb, they can not communicate with the Smart Shunt to sync the real SOC of the battery…

What workaround do you use guys for these situations?

Smart refers to the Bluetooth, the same as other products.

No GX in your system?
Connect the can mppts with the same can as the RS. This works on my inverter RS (with the built in mppt)

No.

The two RS are interconnected with ethernet cable for parallel output, thats all.

The Smart shunt and the MPPTs can communicate via bluetooth network, the RS for some reason can’t :frowning:

Will try that tomorrow, thanks for the tip!
