How to configure MultiPlus to only charge when the battery is low?

I have the following: multiplus 120V 3000. 2 100/20 mppts. Cerbo GX. Victron shunt and monitor. Install of Cerbo GX screen pending.

I need to configure multiplus to behave as follows. When watt draw exceeds 840W or 120V @ 7A AC, the boost using shore power. Multiplus only charge battery only when at or below 30% full. Multiplus stop charing when battery is at or above 50%. Ideally, do not draw more than 7A shore power.

Let Solar (MPPT) charge battery anytime.

What do I need to do to configure this behavior. Right now boosting works, but multiplus will fully charge batteries leaving solor to not produce power even when there is plenty of sun. Mppts only show production of 20 - 100W because battery is always near full.

Victron call this “Ignore AC”, and there’s several ways to approach it. This covers it quite well… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ZsGHi8nKGc
You can set your ACIN 7A limit in the GX (if you haven’t disabled the Remote option in the Multi).

@JohnC
In the video at time line 2:20 I saw an advanced tab in Ve Configure 3:

I can’t see it in my Ve Configure 3 for my Multiplus:

How can I activate the advanced tab for my installation?

Regards, Gerd

You have to update VE.config and/or the MultiPlus.
