Two Quattro 15s in Parallel, 20kva Single Phase Gen set. System is configured to load the genset 80%.
Cerbo running V3.72, Quattro’s V508
Warmup and Cool down set un the Cerbo.
Warmup works fine
Cool down set to 300 seconds, works fine for the first 240 seconds, no load from the generator, but for the last 60 seconds, the load comes back on, and then the generator turns off under full load.
Has anyone come across this?
My cool down disconnect are a bit longer as sometimes the genset also loses its track of time and then runs its cool down for longer than expected.
The screenshot you shows looks like the time scale is correct but we don’t have the ability to zoom in on it. So it is ignoring ac input but the generator is still running when it stops ignoring the input.
Does your genset have its own cool down timer?
And if you set the cool down a little longer does it solve the issue.
Thanks for the input. Tried setting the cool down to 10mins, same effect. At the start of the cool down, the Quattro Ignores AC in, but for the last minute of the 10min, it grabs the AC in again and draws full Load, then at the end of the 10th minute, the GX relay opens and shuts down the genset while still pulling full load.
I cant remember what DSG Model the Genset has, so not sure if it has its own timer, shouldn’t have to if the Victron one would work as indicated. There must be something to do with this site as i would imagine there would be lots more comments on community if this was a wide spread issue.

My follow up then is why has the generator not shut down by this point? Maybe some adjustments need to be made on how the procedure for is happening.
There are two different methods one of the ones that auto cool down (so the coool down on the gx needs to be longer than the genset one) and one for the ones that have to have the cool down handled by the gx and then shut down while ac ignore is in progress as they just turn off immediately.
It sounds like the genset is being shut down at the end of cool down and it shuts off immediately especially now that you say it has been lengthened and the shutdown under load is still happening.
When you adjusted to the 10 minutes what did you adjust?
