Hi, I’ve installed a solar panel on my camper roof a week ago. Everything went smooth. But now I see in the Victron app the solar energy fluctuating. Constantly going from 0 to 15 to 0. Any idea what the issue is?
My installation is very basic. I have used pre-produced connectors.
Clouds blocking the sun?
It goes too rapidly for that I’d say
Battery full? No loads connected?
Hard to say with almost no information about your system.
0 to 15W or 0 to 15V or 0 to 15A.
Cycling can be due to a poor connection on either side of the controller, but just guessing.
It is 0-15 W and back. Volts are stable. I’ve removed the connector at the mppt from the cables coming from the panel, and stripped the cable a bit and then connected it to the mppt not using a crimp connector. It seems to have calmed down e bit but now it is super cloudy. Will check later. I will let you know
It looks like I misread the app. When the battery is full —> no wattage in solar energy is showing. I didn’t know that.
