How do installers/dealers setup customers on the customer’s GX devices?
We usually set them up on our own wifi at the workshop, do all the config, and then invite the user to their system as an Admin.
There is a lot of text we usually put in the “Personal Message” field, for the following reasons;
- To let the user know that accepting this invitation is a good thing
- To let the user know what kinds of data and goodies they can get by using the VRM
- To convince the user this is not spam/phishing
It would be nice if there was a text field in our account that held a template of this info, and for extra points, include placeholders like {systemname}, so that you could use “This email is to invite you to be a {userlevel} of the {systemname} system” which would expand info “This email is to invite you to be a Admin of the SleepyFarms system”
