EVCS not stopping when minimum SOC charge is reached

My EV is not always at home during the day, but I have excess battery storage on my solar system so want the EVCS to utilise some of that power to charge up the car. I have allowed batter/grid power for auto mode, and I have set the start charging at backup soc % of 65% and the stop charging at 61%. I set a long timeout so it would alway use battery if available.

However when trying this out the evcs depleted the backup battery below the set minimum, could it be that because my system is grid connected its ignoring this lower limit? And if so how do I set it always stop at this lower limit in Auto mode or am I missing a setting?

screenshot of my setup:

current screenshot of the dashboard (did not take one when this issue happened) just to show it is receiving comms from the cerbo

In manual mode I want the system to ignore battery soc and just charge at the maximum rate, not sure if this combination is possible?

Hello Anton.
Currently option ‘Stop charging at backup battery SoC, if Off Grid’ applied for all modes(manual, auto, scheduled) but only if ‘Off Grid’. If you have grid connection this option are ignored.

The only oportunity for now to achive your expectation is to use Node-Red automatization on the GX side. For example, you can monitor the backup battery SoC and send Stop command to EVCS when SoC is out of the limit.

However, we working to have flexible configurations on the GX side, that alows users control priorities, levels for the EVs charging.

Thank you for the feedback. I will monitor manually for now and look into the node red suggestion.
