Hello, I will adding charging for our boat to connect to European 250v power. Is the stainless steel Victron power inlet proprietary to Victron’s shore power cable, and thus Victron’s female plug end also proprietary to its inlet? Or is the Victron inlet standard where any EU shore power cable can connect with a normal Commando plug? Many thanks
They are “special” and not compatible with the standard CEE inlet ans plugs.
(But I’m almost sure that they aren’t designed by Victron)
Matthias, thank you much for confirming. I thought that might be the case, and would prefer to not have proprietary connections. Will continue my search for a generic power inlet for the boat, so a generic shore power cable can be used
