ET340 - 2 different phases

Hi there,

I would like to install a ET340 in my camper.
L1 should be shore power and L2 will be from my inverter (no Victron).
Is this possible?

Thanks

Sure, but have you looked in the ET340 manual yourself?

For sure, but it is still unclear.
Thank you.

As steffen wrote its clearly in the manual:
Page 3

Do you have a GX device to connect it to?

As said, the docu is not clear. I don’t have Victron PV Inverter, nor 3 Lines

I run a RasperryPi with Venus OS

Cant make it anymore clear then this…

Thank you, got it now EDIT: got it not (still)

After thinking a while, this is still not what I’m looking for.

I tried to paint it down:

No, it is a camper and I would like to measure AC 1 (shore) and AC coming for a MultiSwitch 12/1600VA.

No, shore power is going into RCBO into ET340 into Multiswitch
From MultiSwitch into another RCBO into ET340 to outlets.

Sorry … error in thinking … it’s getting late …

Of course you can … you can use Powerassist etc. … then you have different values …

Now I think, I got your point.

  1. L is shore power
  2. L is multiswitch power independent from shore, coming from battery

For sure, if I’m on shore, both are the same, because 230V is going thru the Multi.
But without shore, it should be different

Perfect, thank you!

You could use sockets BEFORE the Multi that only work with ShorePower…

I know, but don’t want :sunglasses:

Ah yes thats different, but will work
