ESS without meter, AC Input ignored

Hi there,

I’m currently setting up a 3-phase ESS with 3 Multi-II 10kVA and PV on the AC Out. Since the manual said, the meter is optional in this setup, I have not installed one. Factor 1.0 is good, I got only 16kVA PV at this time.

I installed the firmware 2627552 via VictronConnect, I ran the ESS-Assistant, and did some things about BYD LVS Setup. The VE.Bus Quick configure / VE.config setup from L1 was saved and reused for L2 and L3. Everythings seems fine at thsi point.

In Venus GX I selected AC input 1 as grid, Position of AC loads as AC output only, ESS - Grid metering is set to Inverter/Charger. AC-coupled PV - feed in excess is on.

The problem is, that the multis do not connect to AC In. The “Active AC Input” is “Disconnected”, and the multis do their own thing on the AC-Out (frequency shifting, loads per phase, instead of summarized..). I see that all 3 phases got values for voltage and frequenc. PV-inverters won’t run in normal grid mode, only in the alternative setup. Since I wanted to feed in, this is no option for me.

I saw the same problem on the photovoltaikforum:

but no solution.

Last step was to update to 2627556, redo the whole setup. Same problem.

I think it might be a problem with the LOM. Any ideas other than “install a meter”?

greetings
Christian

Ich habe es gerade doch noch selbst gefunden, ich hatte einen Phasendreher bei AC-Inputs, daher haben die Multis das Netz gesperrt, da sie selbst ja auf anderen Phasen eingestellt sind.

Jetzt läuft alles.

I got a phase dismatch on AC-Input now everything is fine.
