ESS Relay test - Pending

Will perform the test right now, and write the results.

Answering to Q9:

1. Battery SoC is 75%
2. Discharge current limit shows 100A
3. Battery voltage is 53.37, the ESS Relay test condition mention min. SoC 20% or voltage above 56V
4. Feed-in is working during Fronius PV production
5. The MP switch is set to position I (1).

I was reluctant to test, mostly because a lot to do in the kitchen and also due to a unexpectedly long initial switch ON time, described in another post.

ESS system Power ON / Active AC input - disabled

Just finished my first install of Victron ESS + Fronius PV. The system is as simple as possible: Multiplus II GX 5000 Dyness DL5.0C battery 5.12kWh Fronius Primo 3kW on AC output 1 AC input 1 from grid, AC output 1 for all consumers and Fronius. Upon swithing ON the main fuse, the MP / GX started but no output on AC OUT 1. The remote console in Settings-Devices-MultiPlus-II was showing “Active AC input - disabled” despite the correct values shown on AC In 230V / 50.1 Hz. After 5-6 minute…

Test results update, switching OFF the main fuse got to a complete black-out. Embeded GX and battery is still alive.
Switching ON the fuse, GX is showing: battery 75% and 53.4V / AC disconnected / ESS Off.
Power on AC Out 1 have been regained 15 minutes later.
